| Good confidence boosting run. Warm up then 8 x 800s. Most of them were around 3:05, with the 7th 3:00, and then last one 2:55. Felt in control the whole time. Its almost race time. I'm not sure if I am more excited about the race or being done for a while ;o) |

| Felt good today. Did 3 easy, then 4 at MGP, then 3 easy. Didn't do the MGP at the end as there were less traffic lights etc in the middle section of m run. Its now super taper time! |

| Needed today's run after yesterday's humiliation. (My dog got sick so I got hardly any sleep, and decided it would be a fools errand to run a marathon on an hours sleep. Probably a wise choice, but still pretty gutted). Today was an easy run with Mark...this is normally a Wednesday run, but he's out of town the rest of the week. With regard to yesterday, it will take some time to get over. However, I am still going to take a break from hard training for the next few months so that I can hopefully come back faster and stronger in the fall. |
