| A short "long" run this morning as needed to get home early as the dog had a vet visit. The poor pup has allergies. However, I felt relaxed and strong for the first time in a while.I'll try to run 14-15 next weekend. |

| Pretty humid this morning, but a steady breeze so I actually felt cooler while I was running which is a little odd. Anyhow, I ran 3 miles to meet up with a couple of folks for a 4 mile run, and then ran back to the house for a double digit run. Looking to run 40+ miles this week. Certainly off to good a start. Today was also the furthest I have ever run in my vibram fivefingers. My feet felt great, but I am sure my calves will hurt tomorrow ;o). |

| Great morning for running...well for this time of year. I decided to empty the fuel tank on today's workout as I am sure it will be the last cool run for several months. I needed to remind myself that I could do it. Warm up to the track followed by 5 x 1,000s with 200m slow jog recovery. Coach told me to go and run 1:30 laps...I thought he was joking, but thought I'd give it a whirl. 1,000 splits were 3:52, 3:44, 3:36, 3:42, 3:28...that last one hurt. After that we did 5 x 200 metres to loosen things up followed by a long cool down. |

| Not a great day at the office. Felt good at first, but should have stuck to my game plan of taking it easy. Next week I'll listen to my brain ;o). Started to overheat a lot so I decided to cut it short. Pride is a little hurt, but I did the right thing and I'll live to run another day ;o). |
