Great morning for running.  Met up with 2 running buddies who were in the midst of a 20 miler.  Mile splits were as follows: 8:36, 8:12, 8:02, 7:49, 7:54, 7:37, 8:04, 7:46, 7:56, 7:39, 7:08, 4:11 (7:01 pace for .6 mile).

4 miles afterwork.  I wanted to do more, but also wanted to ensure I will fresh for the Gazelle speed workout.  Splits were as follows: 7:38, 7:31, 7:15 & 7:18.

Perfect morning for running.  However, it was a reminder that after the marathon that I'm not as zippy as I'd like to be.  Warm up, then 4 x 1,000s (3:59, 3:58, 4:02, 4:11) with 200 jog active recovry followed by cool down (3 1/3 miles).  I had planned to do 5 1,000s, but I'm still pleased that I made it through the workout ok, and I did feel pretty good.  Now I just need to work on the speed stuff ;o).

Great morning for running.  Cap10K case with Pecos & Scenic added on to get a bit more mileage.  7:14 average pace although in fairness there were plenty of stops ;o).  Last 5 miles were 7:04 (my new MGP sob sob) or faster.

Humbling this morning.  Warm up then 3 x mile repeats (6:18, 6:26, 6:40)...yes they're supposed to get faster not slower, but I was talked into going quick by coach G.  Oh well it was a reminder that you can't take anything for granted, and that I need to get my rear in gear.  Long cool down to get some miles in.
